THE CREATOR

My name is Chance Raspberry. Just like many of you out there, I love to draw! Thanks to my parents, I got an early start as I was spoon-fed Golded Age cartoon classics from about Age 3 on. Since I learned to pick up a pencil around the same time, animation has been my #1 passion. My ability and love for the craft are a true blessing, and I have been fortunate enough to establish a strong cartooning background on projects such as The Simpsons, Foster's, and the Family Guy trading card series. All that being said, I invite you to jouney back with me to before any major experience had found its way into my life...to a time when my creative driving force was the editorial comic strip. I grew up reading the Sunday Funnies and was always impressed by the level of humor, quality, and detail within each little panel. Every artist had their own unique approach to telling their visual story. This was probably my first real introduction to the concept of "style." Needless to say, artists such as Watterson, Schultz, Peters, and MacNelly became heroes of mine at a young age, and played a major role in the birth of this, my very own comic strip. Bearman is the first original series I ever created. Enjoy!
